THE PINK ART PROJECT
To honor survivors who won the battle, promote faith to those suffering with the disease and celebrate the dedication of supporter squad, XIXILI held a painting project that brought together all participating members – breast cancer survivors, fighters and supporters to unite for revelatory canvas painting.
With the guidance of Visionary Artist - Drew Harris, each piece of art painted was an embodiment of struggle, survival, and joy. Patron of BCWA, Yang Berbahagia Puan Sri Datin Seri Dato’ Akmal Abdul Salam D.I.M.P also participated in the painting session to show support and champion good health and strong mentality.
In collaboration with talented students from Saito University College, the event was a success. Breast Cancer survivors and supporters poured their hearts and souls into the paintings to support the movement. XIXILI along with other partners – Number76 and AFOradio attended the event and demonstrated their support. The paintings were categorized into three groups – FAITH, JOY & LOVE. The participating members demonstrated their struggles, emotions and support through each brush stroke of paint.
