XIXILI Fashion Show at The Power of PINK Event by Body Perfect (5 Oct 2019)

XIXILI celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year with a mini fashion show at Body Perfect Malaysia’s annual The Power of Pink Get-Together event. The event was held on 5th October 2019 at The Gardens Ballroom, exclusively for Body Perfect’s members.

The event started with a tribute to Breast Cancer Survivors whereby they shared their heartfelt journey in fighting breast cancer, followed with a series of talks by professionals. Members were treated to an interesting consultations, workshops and free check-ups. Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) was also present to give complimentary breast examinations to those interested.

Pink Art Showcase

In conjunction with Pink October month, XIXILI put up a Pink Art Showcase as a declaration of Breast Cancer Awareness. The showcase included a Pink Ribbon art sculpture made of entwined yarn to signify the communal bond and support for, and amongst women diagnosed with breast cancer, and a Self-Care Checklist activity to promote and serve as a reminder to make small and purposeful efforts to improve ourselves mentally, emotionally and physically.

Lucky Draw

Guests were encouraged to answer few simple questions to be in the running to win 1-Year supply of XIXILI lingerie. There were quite a high number of participation due to the attractive prize.

At the end of the event, 5 winners were announced. 4 consolation prize winners were given a Limited Edition #BePinkAware tote bag while the grand prize winner got herself a 1-Year supply of lingerie from XIXILI!

FREE Bust Measurement

Known to advocate women to always be fitted to wear the right-sized bra, XIXILI gave away FREE bust measurement service for those who would like to know their bra size. They were also given free consultation on types of bra that suits their body shape. XIXILI brought in some of its best-selling bra such as Rufina Contouring Bra and Jay Wireless Bra which saw a high volume of guests purchasing these two collections.

PINK Lingerie Fashion Show

The fashion show is especially curated with pink ribbon themed to suit the event’s theme. 8 models walked the runway while showcasing series of XIXILI’s bestsellers, predominantly wireless collections which promote unmatched comfort and support in mixture of classic basics shades beautifully balanced by earthy and pastel tones.

The whole-day event ended with PINK Lingerie Fashion Show by XIXILI and lucky draw by Body Perfect.
