Bra Size Chart Explained: How to Check Your Size?

When it comes to finding your perfect bra, it all starts with knowing your size. A well-fitting bra supports not just your bust but your posture, confidence, and comfort, too.

If you’ve ever wondered how to check bra size chart details or how to read a bra size chart, you’re not alone. Let’s make it simple!

Why Your Bra Size Matters

Your bra size isn’t just a number and letter. It’s a reflection of your unique body shape and support needs. Wearing the wrong size can lead to discomfort, shoulder strain, and poor posture. The right one? It feels like a second skin, giving you confidence and comfort all day long.

That’s why understanding how to check a bra size chart is so important. Once you know your true fit, every outfit looks and feels better.

How to Check Bra Size Chart (Step-by-Step Guide)

All you need is a soft measuring tape and a few minutes in front of your mirror. Follow these simple steps to check your size accurately:

1. Measure Your Underbust (Band Size)

  • Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust.
  • Make sure it’s level and straight around your body.
  • Write down the measurement in centimetres (cm).
  • In a bra size chart in cm, this number determines your band size — for example, 70, 75, 80, or 85.

2. Measure Your Overbust (Bust Size)

  • Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
  • Keep the tape parallel to the ground, but not too tight.
  • Write down this measurement in cm as well.
  •  Calculate Your Cup Size
  • Subtract your underbust measurement from your overbust measurement.

The difference determines your cup size:

  • 10–12 cm = A cup
  • 12–14 cm = B cup
  • 14–16 cm = C cup
  • 16–18 cm = D cup
  • 18–20 cm = E cup
  • and so on.

When you combine the two — for example, C70 — that’s your bra size.

Understanding the Bra Size Chart

Sizing systems can differ slightly from country to country. Our bra size chart generally follows the Asian sizing standard, which can be slightly smaller than UK or US sizes.

That’s why a C75 in Malaysia may be equivalent to a 34B in the US.

We use a detailed bra size chart in cm to ensure every measurement is as accurate as possible. Our Perfect Fitters also consider your breast shape, underbust firmness, and comfort level, because true fit is more than just numbers.
